Welcome to the Pre-competitive program at Greater Sudbury Soccer Club.

Our pre-competitive pathway is designed for players aged U8 to U13 who are looking to take the next step beyond recreational soccer. This program focuses on building strong technical foundations, introducing tactical concepts, and fostering a love for the game in a more structured and challenging environment.

The outdoor season runs from May through September, with players participating in regular training sessions and games throughout the summer. Teams train twice per week, providing consistent opportunities for skill development, while games are typically scheduled on weekends. Depending on the age group, teams may play locally or travel within the region for competition.

Our coaches emphasize player development, confidence, and teamwork, creating a positive atmosphere where athletes are encouraged to learn, compete, and grow. The goal of the program is to prepare players for future competitive opportunities while ensuring they continue to enjoy the game.
