New this season:

1.  You will be able to register for Fall only or for both Fall & Winter during the registration process.  If you choose fall only, you will be able to register for the Winter season later, towards the end of the fall season.

 2.  You  will be able to choose between one full payment or four installment payments, payable on the last day of each month

Grassroots Fall Program:   Monday, September 30th, 2024-   Monday, December 16th , 2024 

Grassroots Winter Program :    Monday, January 13th, 2025 - Saturday, April 12th, 2025

Tentative details and schedule is below as we are working with Rainbow District School Board to finalize our  Lancer Dome bookings.

Attire:

GSSC will provide each player with a white practice jersey, shorts and socks.

Indoor turf shoes or running shoes are required as per Rainbow District School Board.  

No outdoor cleats are permitted in the Lancer Dome.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY:

1. Tryouts for the entire fall and winter season will take place over two sessions in September, as per the schedule below.

The Indoor season is held in the Lancer Dome:

2. Precompetitive is for players, boys and girls, U8 to U12.   Competitive is for players, boys and girls U13- U18

Please see birth years in Grassroots chart above  to confirm divisions.

3.  The Precompetitive is a once weekly practice on Sunday afternoons, with some exhibition games throughout the season.  It is intended for added training throughout the fall and winter in preparation for the Outdoor season.  Players can choose to do only Precompetitive or both Grassroots and Precompetitive.  By doing both, players will have weekly games on Saturdays as part of the Grassroots program, as well as weekly practices and the Sunday Precompetitive Practice.

4.  Fees : 

Precompetitive $500 for both Fall & Winter seasons

Competitive:  $1000 for both Fall & Winter seasons plus league fees, if applicable.  League Fees can range from $250 - $350 depending on the league the team joins.  League participation is decided by the coaching staff of each individual team.

5.  Both Precompetitive and Competitive require out of town travel to North Bay, Sault Ste Marie, the Huronia area and North Toronto (for Competitive teams in the Provincial Indoor Soccer League)

6.  Once tryouts are completed, if the player is selected, the Coach will give the link to register for the Indoor Team

7.  Tryouts for the 2025 Outdoor Season will take place before Christmas and at the beginning of January

Wednesday Evenings (Schedule tentative as per Lancer dome confirmation from Rainbow Schools)

Women's League:  8pm- 9pm

Co-ed League: 9pm - 10pm or 11pm depending on number of teams

Starts:  Wednesday, October 9th

Ends:  Wednesday, April 23rd

Duration: 24 weeks

Cost: $300 per player,  option to pay in four $75 instalments at registration

Team technical shirts with number and team name can be purchased for $18 per jersey.  Email info@gssc.ca if your team would like to order a set.
