First Outdoor session happens in


Outdoor Session #1

Hello parents!
GSSC is happy to inform you of our first outdoor session this Sunday April 30th at James Jerome Turf Field. Due to the variety of, and the amount of players we have broken down the times as follows:
- 2PM - 3PM - 
All U8s and U10's (2007,2008,2009,2010)
- 3PM - 4PM - 
U12s (boys and girls, 2005, 2006)
- 3:30PM - 5 - U13s U14s U15s U16s (2001,2002,2003,2004)

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your respective session. We have a tight schedule that will need to be adhered to.
 We will be having attendance at the main gate, players are to pass through and warm up in the end zone while parents remain to check them in. 

The Dress Code:
- White T-shirt or long sleeve shirt
- Black (or dark coloured) shorts and soccer socks
- Shin Guards (safety reasons) 
- Cleats or turf shoes
** Please dress according to the weather, if you wear long sleeves or a sweater please wear white shirt over top***
Additionally, please ensure your child has only WATER as GSSC Strongly discourages the use of Sugar-based sports drinks during physical activity.  

We will announce future sessions this coming week.

Are you READY for a FUN-FILLED summer managing your very own soccer team?

The Ontario Soccer Association is offering community coaching courses in Sudbury this year!   Who should attend?  In short, anyone who plans to coach this summer. 

  • For those coaching teenagers and beyond, take SOCCER FOR LIFE the weekend of May 6-7 at NorthEastern in Garson from 8am-4pm
  • For those coaching children aged U9-U12 take LEARN TO TRAIN the weekend of May 27-28 at Sacre Coeur in Sudbury from 8am-4pm
  • For those coaching children aged U6-U8 take FUNdamentals Sunday June 4th at Sacre Coeur in Sudbury from 8am-4pm
  • For those coaching children aged U4-U5, take ACTIVE START Sunday evening June 4th at Sacre Coeur in Sudburyfrom 5pm-9pm 

To register: visit and make an account. Search 'Sudbury' under the 'District' drop down menu and register for the appropriate course. 

Note: for coaches who have previously taken courses titled 'Level 1/2/3' or 'Child/youth/senior' these credentials will expire April 2017. To be certified, please register for the course of only the age category you will be working with.
